Mechanics in Suspension
Last week I posted “Vegetation“. It inspired me to try and develop a series of images that are connected via colors, patterns and design.
This is the second in the series, which I am calling “Mechanics”. I don’t see so much movement or life in this image. Rather, I see a group of parts waiting for a cue to begin moving and coughing out materials that they produce. Like a photocopy machine that spits out a printed image after a push of the button. It is big, bulky, and full of parts that move only once they are told to go.
