Procrastination
When I was a child my mother bought me a t-shirt that said “Destination: Procrastination”. Thanks mom.
The internet doesn’t help. I keep putting off the things that I should really do in order to do things I don’t really need to do. I justify it by saying to myself “I’m seeking my muse!”.
I had been asked by a friend to work up some concepts for a small project. I procrastinated. Finally I sat myself down and attempted to be creative, hoping that this exercise would motivate me into completing some other things I really need to get out of the way. Below are the results of that exercise.
In the end my friend went another direction, so these were never used. For me, the kickstart never came. Those pressing projects are still on my neck and somehow I keep avoiding them here and there.
