Wanted: Camera

I have spent the past two days photographing fruit & vegetables for a client. I borrowed a friends fancy camera and made a “lightbox” with a white sheet and some 100 watt lightbulbs. It was loads of fun. Not really sure how all the photos came out. The one above is my favorite so far. Now I just need to figure where to get the funds to get my own fancy camera so I can keep doing more of this. And maybe some proper lights.

The best part of the shoot was eating the fruits afterwards. Mango, apples, passion fruit, tree tomatoes and peaches. My kids were extremely happy. Once the avocados get ripe, they will be quite enjoyable too.

The last photo is a tree tomato. I have never heard of these before. The one I ate was a bit sour, slightly sweet and did taste a bit like a regular tomato. It is a very pretty fruit.
