Sudanese Show!
So if any of you are around this weekend and up for some fun, go to downtown Nairobi and check out my wife’s show. She will be performing with a couple of other artists and I suppose they plan to dance the night away.
She just came back from touring Upper Nile in South Sudan. The photo we used for the flier is from one of those shows. They were performing for a number of SPLA soldiers that have been caught up in fighting recently with the rebel group led by George Athor. The SPLA soldiers were very happy not only to have a couple of very beautiful women come and sing for them but also get a chance to cut loose and enjoy themselves for a bit.While no one should be waving guns about this weekend, there should be plenty of cutting loose and enjoying of selves. Come have some fun!
