Red Chief
Mary meeting with Barchoch, the red chief from north of Pibor in the Lekuongole payam. The Red chiefs are the most respected elders within the Murle community and carry the greatest influence on public opinion. Barchoch gave Mary his blessing and told his people “This is our daughter”.
