one of the mishaps…

During my stay in Kampala while getting the bumper fixed, I managed to drive off into a ditch.   It was raining and I was tired.  I was pulling out of the mechanic’s shop and turned a little too quick.

The front end of my car ended up hanging over the ditch.  I would have done quite a bit of damage to the front end if it hadn’t gotten hung up on the big bump under my door.  Managed to put a nice dent and scrap off a bit of paint with this one.

These are the only photos I got from my trip.  Took them with my phone, so the quality isn’t the best.  Took us about 20 minutes to jack the car up high enough to put the metal thing under the tire so it could get some traction and reverse out of that position.
