hope that works

today has been hot. very hot. but now, the rain is on its way. the wind is blowing, the sky is overcast and everything is beginning to feel almost pleasant.

sudan is warm in general. i knew that before coming, so i really shouldn’t complain. but it is difficult to deal with at times. especially when you can’t keep your arms from slipping on the desk everytime you make a movement because they are sitting in a puddle of your own sweat. if that makes any sense.

anyhow… the breeze is blowing now and the sun has been hidden. is lovely indeed.

ive tried upgrading this site to the newest version of the blogging software, but it didn’t work. aggravating.

yesterday we just recieved a new gadget which is similar to a handheld palm pilot. at least it runs the same software. and it is supposed to be able to hook into a computer. but apparantly i don’t have all the right software for that, and I can’t figure out how to get it to work. aggravating.

sitting in the middle of nowhere, trying to rely on the stuff that is sent to you and a not so decent connection to the interent. aggravating.

trying to sort out the direction my life is going in the near future and not really getting anywhere. aggravating.

at least there was rain for a little bit this morning. cooled things down briefely, made it pleasant to sit in the office for a short while. then it got hot again. aggravating.

today the wind is blowing hot and carrying alot of dust. i can taste it my mouth and the desk i am working on is covered in a thin gritty layer of filth.

there is a slight kink in my back that has been lingering there for almost three weeks now. im not sure what to do to rid myself of the annoyance. it is at it’s worse when i first wake up in the morning and when i am trying to go to sleep in the evening. otherwise it just stays there in the background all day, making itself known but not unbearable.

it is another friday. sit in the office all day. go to the compound after work. maybe go for an uncooled beverage with some of the boys. otherwise not do much of anything. maybe watch a movie or paint a picture. havn’t decided yet.

hmmm…. love the weekends

its hot right now. im sweating all over the desk. its disgusting.
