Pibor and what lies ahead

On 1/11/2012 By gigglingbob
Mary Boyoi with UN peacekeepers from Kenya When I talked with her on the phone Sunday, I don't think I had ever heard her so sad and dejected before. She said many people were coming back from hiding in the bush looking for food in Pibor and not finding anything. The little money that she had she gave out to some relatives but she knew it wasn't enough to do much of anything.

Sudan Land Grab – My First Data Visualization

On 12/28/2010 By rob

Henry Rollins in Southern Sudan

On 11/27/2010 By rob

Normally, I don’t really care much about what celebrity is visiting Southern Sudan.  They jet in on a plane, spend a few days “talking” to the people and then go back to their comfort zones an expert on what is happening in Southern Sudan.

When I checked my twitter feed this morning I [...]
