The guy sitting in the middle with dark hair is my friend Andries. He works for the U.N. as a security officer currently stationed in Darfur, Sudan . He also worked in Lokichoggio, Kenya for a few years as a security officer for humanitarian operations in Southern Sudan. He was one of the guys making sure myself and all the other folks working with Operation Lifeline Sudan didn’t get shot when we went to the field.

The helicopter is his work vehicle. The boys with guns are Sudanase rebels(?). click on the photo to enlarge.
